Smartphone giants, Blackberry is about releasing another device into the market: The Blackberry R10.
The new smartphone- R10 is expected to be the cheaper, more affordable version of the Q10.
Although it has a slightly different shape, the new BB R10 will run on the same Blackberry 10 platform.
The Blackberry R10 is expected to come with a 3.1-inch display with a 720X720 pixel resolution. It is said to come with 2 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and a 5 MP camera. The battery said to be 1800 mAh will be a non-removable battery, perhaps a first for BlackBerry.
The pictures leaked in the media show that the new BlackBerry R10 would sport a plastic body case, which suggests that the device will fall in the mid-range segment bracket, making it cheaper than BlackBerry's flagship devices Z10 and Q10 which were unveiled earlier this year.
According to various reports, the speculated BlackBerry R10 is expected to be launched around the 3rd quarter of 2013 with a price-tag ranging between $300 and $400(N48,000-N64,000).
