Skilled Technical Services has been assigned by an International Company to urgently resource the above positionsPetroleum Engineer
Job Purpose:
To propose engineering plan integrating reservoir and well data to optimise the well production.
To collaborate with drilling and operation team to propose new well and completion technology to improve the asset value.
To propose techniques and equipment to be used during the exploration, appraisal and development production test to ensure the quality of the data gathered.
To supervise reservoir behaviour during production to ensure a cost effective reservoir management.
Main responsibilities:
To identify engineering solutions for field development, by interpreting and discussing reservoir model and well data with reservoir team, in order to maximize recovery efficiency and improve the field economics.
To collaborate with Reservoir and Exploration team to define objectives of well testing and data collection for exploration, development, and production wells proposing the techniques and the equipment to be used ensuring completeness of information and cost control.
To collaborate with drilling and operation teams to propose development wells completion design.
Key activities:
To collaborate with drilling and operation teams to introduce new technology to improve the well design in order to maximise the field recovery and improve the economics.
To define completion and workover programs and requirements to maximize production ensuring technical quality and cost effectiveness of the solution adopted.
To follow up and coordinate with operation team the data and sampling transfer from wells to laboratories and main officies.
To monitor production activities, analysing production data to verify compliance with forecasts and to propose the necessary actions in order to ensure a cost effective reservoir management.
To supervise contractors defining technical specification, checking the quality, controlling time scheduling and costs.
To prepare and participate with project leader to committees with partners and governement agencies to explain technical solution adopted in order to get their approval and keep them informed at each stage of the project.
To keep abreast of the evolution in the petroleum engineering field, with reference to techniques and equipment, in order to improve performance and reduce costs.

Junior Reservoir Engineer
Job Purpose:
To support the definition of the optimal field development plan through dynamic reservoir modelling, evaluation of alternative drainage patterns, pressure support mechanisms and development scenarios, and to prepare associated production profiles
Main responsibilities:
Accuracy and timely updating of dynamic reservoir models
Key activities:
Elaborating dynamic reservoir models, by mean of a software program in order to estimate reserves and production profiles
Supervising reservoir studies performed by consultants
Ensuring reliability of the dynamic input data and calculation results
Collaborating with Reservoir Geology, Petroleum, Development and Operation Teams to optimise the development scenario from a facilities, production and economic point of view
Identifying and propose new infilling, appraisal and WO locations for producers and injectors
Keeping abreast know-how in the area of competence
QC dynamic input data
Follow up drilling, completion and data collection activities

Terms:
Duration: 1 year (renewable)

Key activities:
Coordination and planning of all the daily operations on the field crew.
Quality control of data acquisition.
Reporting of Seismic contractor daily performance and costcontrol. Certification of contractor service tickets.
Liaison with Government and local communities representatives.
Scouting of project area. Participation in the planning of future seismic surveys.
Participation in the planning of future operations.
