Project Fame Auditions Begin

Music talent discovery and grooming competition, MTN Project Fame West Africa, is back for its sixth straight season. Looking for raw talents, the annual show will commence auditions on 25 May till 29 June.
The auditions will hold across four West African countries- Sierra Leone, Ghana, Liberia and Nigeria. Thousands of young talents are expected to fight their way into the prestigious Project Fame Academy.
Previous music stars that have graduated from the ‘Fame Academy’ include Iyanya Mbuk, whose Kukere, with the famous Etighi dance won the best pop single on the 2012 Headies Award in Lagos; Mike Anyasodo, who by virtue of his Fine Fine Lady video won the 2010 Sound City’s Best R&B Video Award; Kesse Frimpong, who was voted the Ghanaian’s Best Male Vocalist of the year 2012 and Chidinma Ekile, who won the Best Female Act (West Africa) of the prestigious Kora Award in 2012.
This year, three music concerts will be held in Benin-City (7June), Calabar (21 June) and Lagos (28 June). It is aimed at showcasing Project Fame superstars alongside other Fame Academy alumni and the possibilities the show holds for making dreams come true for young people.
